MANCHESTER, N.H. — With the vote only two days away, many New Hampshire residents have attended various town halls, rallies and debate-watch party events to hear from the remaining candidates.
Christopher Connolly, who drives for Uber, said he will cast his vote for Donald Trump.
“He’s not afraid to say what’s on his mind; he says a lot of the things other people want to,” Connolly said.
“His company went bankrupt four times and he was able to build it back up and make it successful. That’s what this country needs,” he added.
Although the state is known for the many people who go into the polls as undecideds, Martin DelGuardillo, who works at Consuelo’s Taqueria, said he would be voting for Bernie Sanders .
“America is a great country, but it could be better,” DelGuardillo said. “Bernie is the only guy who can do it.”
The 2016 primary will be the first time Tony Palladino can vote after turning 18 several weeks ago. Palladino, who has been homeless since the age of 14, said, “Bernie is the only person talking about economic inequality. I just really believe in everything he stands for.”
However, some voters do remain undecided. Sara Hoang, who attended a Jeb Bush town hall on Saturday in Bedford, New Hampshire, said, “I’m just here to see what he has to say. I’m not sure who I’ll be voting for yet, but I want to hear from everyone.”
