GOFFSTOWN, N.H. — Leading into primary day Tuesday, pollster Frank Luntz stopped to talk quickly during a Marco Rubio stop at the The Village Trestle here.
In light of what Rubio did at the debate, what do you see the polls doing?
Nothing, polls do not reflect 24 hour, 48 hour changes, you won’t be able to see any change until election night itself. That’s the problem with polling; it’s a snapshot in time and it has it’s limits, and this is one of those limits.
What are you seeing on the ground, where are people leaning towards?
I don’t know yet. I’ve only been on the ground for six hours. I go to every event and then I go to bars and restaurants and people tell me where they are at. My assumption is that Trump wins by about 10 points and Rubio is still in second, but it will not be as good of a showing because of the debate on Saturday.
