MANCHESTER, N.H. — Hillary Clinton made an unannounced visit to potential presidential primary voters at the Belmont Hall Restaurant Saturday morning.

The former secretary of state, accompanied by New Hampshire State Sen. Donna Soucy, spent more than half an hour shaking hands and talking with customers and staff.

Manchester resident Megan Bowman was having breakfast with her newborn and snapped a picture of Clinton holding her baby.

“It made my mind up definitely to want to vote for her now. She said she would take good care of my baby,” Bowman said.

Despite Bernie Sanders’ narrow loss in Iowa and his recent rise in the polls, Bowman said she’s confident Clinton will win Tuesday’s primary.

“I think she’ll be OK here, I really do.”

Clinton, trailing Sanders in the latest New Hampshire polls, is relying on retail politicking to appeal to undecided Democratic and Independent voters.
